Catch up

So I figured that this forum worked out so well for the road trip we could continue to use it for keeping eachother and others posted on what we're up to. So as for me, Colin, I've been down in Mississippi for about 3 months working doing Hurricane Katrina relief. I took all the photos in Biloxi one day when I had to go in for a seminar. As for the lifestyle downhere, I'm working in a small town about a half hour out of Hattiesburg. There wasn't any flood damage up this far but winds did reach 150 mph so there are tons of missing roofs and trees still sitting in the middle of houses. They have me staying in a hotel room, so when I'm not out inspecting and quantifying hurricane damages, I'm here in my hotel room writing up the damages on a laptop. I was only home for a month before I found this job (sctually it found me thanks to the PC network) so the shock of living and working in the middle of such open space to being stuck in a 20' x 20' hotel room has me going a little stir crazy. Some of you may have already figured that out from the bizarre correspondance we've had in the last few weeks. So the plan is to be here until about the end of march, I'm working about 70 hrs a week so it's quickly burning me out, but as for plans after that I really don't have any other than picking up the landcruiser from Darren's place in California. Anyway thats a quick update from Colin's side of things and I hope The Manchild and Mr. Bogangles can find the time to do the same, gotta keep the trio intouch.
