This blog started with the adventures of three former Peace Corps Volunteers and their Toyota Landcruiser, La Puta Madre, as they travel the Pan-American highway through the countries of Central America on their journey home to the United States. Unfotunately two of the original three have sold out to the man and are slowly turning into suits. Now, it chronicles the travels of the last of the original three. there are miles of these deposited flats alongside the river Vilcanota, the Inca based the center of their civilization around their fertile soils
Sean, Pete, Matt & me, the other two worked with Pete on the Idaho City Hotshots fighting forrest fires. Kinda weird that they all were able to meet up again down in Peru.
Cuzco is the city closest to all the ruins around Machu Pichu and the Sacred Valley, cool city but it's full of tourists. I was out so late one night that Pete and Sean went and looked for me at the local jail.
