Home again, Home again jiggity jig
So we're back, one person light but we're back nonetheless. Wilson got a little fed up with our mad dash across the country and got out on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River. No ill feelings or anything he just wanted to take it a little slower than what I had planned, last I heard he was visting a friend of ours in Chicago. So Wilson, have fun on the rest of the trip don't get too lost and Alfred I hope you like vinegar. So the mad dash started at about 3:30 pm on Wednesday the 23rd, after having the starter rebuilt in Seattle, and arrived home at about 11 am on Saturday the 26th. So a little over 67 hrs I see as pretty damn good in a 4 cylinder diesel that barely gets up to 60 mph, which in the dash really reads as about 100 kmh. So Johnny and I made it back in one piece, he stayed with me for a few days but has now moved up to New York to look for a little work before he goes home. As for me I'm home for 4 or 5 months before Pete (a friend from Peace Corps) and I go down to South America for a few months, so I'm looking for work for a little while before I go, hopefuly something a little less official or adult like. I'll keep this updated with anything new or interesting and if nothing falling into those categories happens until then I'll definately keep you posted on the trip down to South America.
