The Homecoming
So after waisting a little time in Leon, Nicaragua sweating like a pig I've finally made it back to La Esperanza, my home of two years. Things have definately changed, many more streets are paved and there is construction everywhere but more or less it has the same fell as when I left. Unfortunately the street market that burnt down on christmas day of 2004 is still an empty lot but everyone keeps telluing that the plans are in the works. The strangest thing has been talking with the friends I made while I was here. While my life has changed many tiem in the last two years theres, other than some being a little taller or having a new baby, haven't really changed at all. I'm on to the Tegucigalpa tommorrow to see some friends there before I fly to Peru. Hopefully my buddy Pete hasn't had second thoughts and is still meeting me there on the 13th.
